Information about the host Our newly refurbished holiday flat awaits you in the heart of Sachrang, in a quiet location right next to the beautiful maypole. The unobstructed view of our local mountain, the Spitzstein, inspired the name ‘Spitzsteinblick’. The village shop (50 m) offers a bread roll delivery service, a full range of goods, and products from the Chiemgau and Tyrol, as well as newspapers, a post office and a small café. We’ll be happy to stock your fridge on request. A restaurant serving Upper Bavarian and international cuisine is 50 m away. The bus stop, with a free guest bus to Lake Chiemsee, is 100 m away; the tourist information centre is 200 m away; the ski lift is 600 m away; and the valley station of the Kampenwandbahn is 10 km away. You’ll find GPs, a vet and chemists in nearby Aschau; the railway station is 11 km away. On request, we offer guided mountain walks, via ferrata routes, glacier tours and geocaching with the host. Dogs are welcome for an additional charge. Environment description Right on your doorstep, adventurous hiking trails lead through the nature reserve over inviting bread huts to the surrounding Chiemgau mountains as well as to the Zahmen and Wilder Kaiser. Excursions entice you to the nearby wildlife park, to swimming and the summer toboggan run at Walchsee, to enjoy cycling around Lake Chiemsee or on sporty mountain bike trails. Golfers will find attractive courses with big names in the surrounding area, also for beginners. The "Bavarian Sea", Lake Chiemsee, Kufstein, Kitzbühel, Salzburg and countless museums, churches and castles offer cultural and unforgettable impressions. In winter, the cross-country ski runs start at the Gartentor, toboggan runs and ski school with lifts can be reached in a few minutes, night skiing in the neighbouring village. terms/extras Children in parents' bed free of charge. Ch. directly to your host. Arrival Description You will find us directly in the centre of Sachrang - right by the maypole. You can get to Sachrang via the A 8 motorway towards Salzburg, exit Frasdorf. From there, head towards Aschau and continue to Sachrang. By public transport you can reach the village by train on the route Munich - Salzburg. Please take the Chiemgaubahn from Prien am Chiemsee station to Aschau, from there take the bus to Sachrang. We can pick you up from Aschau station on request. Description of the accommodation A very well-maintained, lovingly furnished, non-smoking holiday flat called “Spitzsteinblick” for 2 people on the ground floor. Separate entrance with a large hallway, living and sleeping area with a double bed (160 m x 200 m), kitchenette, cosy corner bench and large Jogl table. Wood-panelled sitting room with a small library, TV, leather sofa and electric fireplace with a glass panel. Bathroom with shower (raised by one step), toilet and hairdryer. All rooms have wooden ceilings. Private seating area in the flower garden. Bed linen and towels are provided. You are welcome to bring a dog for an additional charge.
